A responsible, friendly and compassionate 24-year old recent veterinary medicine graduate with a passion for education and mentoring. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring English, Mathematics and Science to students aged 2 to 14 years old, tailoring my lessons to each individual's learning style and pace. My goal is to make complex topics understandable and enjoyable, helping students build confidence and strong problem-solving skills. In addition to my academic background, I hold a Level 2 qualification in ski instructing and black belt in Karate, both of which have strengthened my ability to teach, communicate clearly and motivate learners of different ages. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, discipline, and encouragement - qualities I bring to all my tutoring sessions. With my experience in both education and professional training, I also assist senior students with university applications, personal statement writing, interview preparation and study guidance. Ever since I started teaching in 2011, I have developed a fondness for children As a teacher, I gained a sense of responsibility towards my students. My personal duties were always to be a good role model to the students, to understand them and their needs, to develop a positive student-teacher relationship, to encourage them to learn, to praise them no matter what, but in the end of the day, to also maintain a disciplinary strain, yet in a thoughtful way. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught various courses, including but not limited to; Trinity, Cambridge, Grammar, Writing, and Phonics. This has better enabled me to teach my students in ways that guarantees their progress. I look forward to helping your child become a better learner.
